How can we present complex issues even more effectively online and offer live webinars that are compact and to-the-point? The answers to these questions led us to a new format: webinars packaged as series.
mix&match: You can acquire a broad set of knowledge about process issues by attending a complete series, selecting individual webinars, or recommending them to your colleagues and/or employees. Our SMT experts ensure that you will benefit from lively and direct information with users, guest speakers, interview partners, chats, Q&A sessions, teleconferences and videos – everything that helps to convey knowledge about the particular topic.

Factory integration harbors the greatest efficiency reserves in electronics production. The perfectly synchronized interaction of all resources – people, equipment, material, and processes – improves the company’s key performance indicators and competitiveness. On the other hand, successful synchronization requires consistent communication, preferably in real time.
This webinar series explains how open interfaces and smart software solutions can accomplish these objectives on the SMT line. You will learn about technologies and solutions, and guest speakers will talk about best practices.
Webinar 1 PEOPLE: How to fully integrate human resources into the production environment
You can request access to the recorded webinars here.
Webinar 2 EQUIPMENT: Smart machine-to-machine communication
Webinar 3 MATERIAL: Optimized, automated material supply from the warehouse to the line
Webinar 4 PROCESS: Factory integration to ensure process control

SMT Factory Solutions Manager
After getting his degree in mechatronics and automation technologies, Haithem Jeridi started his career in 2015 as a systems testing engineer in ASMPT’s development department. In 2017, he transferred to ASMPT's SMT factory solutions marketing. Haithem Jeridi has successfully supervised many implementation projects and is a respected expert in the challenges and synergies involved in the construction of integrated smart factories.
Many electronics factories place THT components and OSCs in special processes and/or with special machines, which costs time and money and frequently subjects the components to additional mechanical and thermal stresses.
Processing them on standard placement machines would not only be much more attractive in terms of process technology, but also be much more economical. This series of webinars uses practical examples to demonstrate step-by-step how THT components and OSCs can be processed extremely efficiently with DEK printers, ASMPT SPI systems and SIPLACE placement solutions.
Webinar 1 OSC and THT processing: SOLDER PASTE PRINTING & INSPECTION
Webinar 2 OSC and THT processing: PROGRAMMING & TEACHING
Webinar 3 OSC and THT processing: COMPONENT FEEDING
Webinar 4 OSC and THT processing: HANDLING & ASSEMBLY
Head of SMT Center of Competence Munich
Christoph Oeckl left an SMT manufacturer to join the ASMPT team in 2001, first as a trainer within the framework of a SIPLACE solution provider project, then as an application engineer for stencil printing, placement and reflow, and starting in 2010 as the head of what at the time was called the Application and Demo Center in Munich and of SIPLACE special designs. In today’s ASMPT Center of Competence, Christoph Oeckl is also in charge of solder paste inspection, process optimization, and robotics. For electronics manufacturers in Europe, Christoph Oeckl is a valued and well-connected expert who is often consulted and whose practical advice has made many improvements possible.
There is no way around it: If you want to achieve zero DPMO (defects per million opportunities), you must keep your processes stable. Unfortunately, SMT lines involve many different processes, and the trend to smaller lot sizes, high-density applications and expensive components makes for ever tougher requirements. Even the smallest details and interdependencies, including those posed by upstream and downstream processes, can cause instabilities.
In this series of webinars we will use many practical examples to explain how processes can be stabilized and optimized. In this context we will place special attention on the support provided by new, smart solutions as well as on the direct exchange of knowledge and information with ASMPT experts.
