With a focus on making an active contribution to the Paris climate targets, we have set ourselves the goal of “Net-Zero 2035” for direct emissions from our own sources (scope 1) and for indirect emissions, especially from purchased energy (scope 2). By setting this ambitious timeline, we are accelerating our efforts in carbon reduction.
Along this path, we are working towards an interim milestone of around 50% reduction by 2030, while addressing Scope 3 emissions across our value chain.
Our near-term targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), marking a key milestone in our journey toward ambitious, company-wide emissions reductions in line with climate science. These SBTi validated targets include a focus on Scope 3 emissions and reflect our ambition to foster collaboration, transparency, and measurable progress in advancing sustainability throughout our operations and value chain.
