Use of personal data collected at trade fairs

In addition to our general privacy statement, which you can access at this link, you will find here, especially specifically for the use of personal data obtained from us during a visit to a trade fair, further information on data protection.

If definitions from the general privacy policy should be specified or regulated differently here, the information contained in these topic-related privacy statement is given priority.

Section 1 Collection of personal data when visiting our fair
We collect only personal information that you provide us during the visit to the fair. This is done either by the transfer of your business card or by the manual recording by our employees or by our contracted partners.

We process the following personal data:

• person master data (for example, title, title, first name, last name, date of birth)
• company data (e.g., company name, function, position)
• company address data (e.g., address, zip code, city, country)
• company contact information (e.g., telephone number, e-mail address)

Apart from the above mentioned data, we do not collect any other personal data. Only information about the desired information about our products or specific requests for quotations, we collect other non-personal information.

The data collected will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of their survey. In the case of collecting the data for the delivery of product information and / or offers, your personal data will be stored in our CRM system and if no further contact takes place we will delete the personal related data after four weeks. The processing takes place in order to send you product information or other information requested by you. The processing of your data thus serves the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures or our justified, economic interest in sending you information as a contact person of your company, for example, to prepare a contract with your employer. The legal basis is therefore in accordance with Article 6 (1) (1) (b) or (f) of the GDPR.

Section 2 No obligation to provide
You are neither contractually nor legally required to provide us with your personal information. However, the provision of personal information is required in order to send you the relevant information material. If you do not provide us with the necessary data, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with the relevant information or, if so desired, to contact you.
