From September 16 to 18, 2026, Productronica India brought together electronics manufacturers, technology providers, and industry experts at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru.
As one of the leading trade fairs for electronics development and manufacturing in the region, the event provided a platform for showcasing new technologies, discussing industry trends, and strengthening business relationships across the electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
Over the course of three days, visitors explored solutions addressing key challenges in modern electronics manufacturing, including increasing automation, digitalization, data-driven production, and the growing demand for high-performance computing and AI applications. The exhibition floor offered numerous opportunities for technical discussions, live demonstrations, and exchanges between equipment suppliers and manufacturers from sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, industrial electronics, and EMS.
A recurring theme throughout the event was the growing importance of AI infrastructure and advanced computing systems. As demand for AI servers continues to increase, manufacturers are facing new requirements regarding large-format printed circuit boards, heavy components, process stability, and production efficiency. Many exhibitors presented solutions designed to address these evolving manufacturing challenges.
Among them, we showcased our latest SMT technologies, including the new SIPLACE V placement platform, which celebrated its India debut at the exhibition. Developed from the ground up, SIPLACE V delivers up to 30% more real performance under real production conditions while combining high productivity with process excellence, flexibility, and long-term investment security. Visitors also experienced live demonstrations focused on AI server manufacturing, featuring the placement of large and heavy BGA components and high-precision printing for complex, large-format PCB applications. In addition, we presented software solutions for production monitoring, analytics, and data-driven process optimization.
Throughout the exhibition, numerous visitors were welcomed to our booth and engaged in discussions with electronics manufacturers from across the region. The strong interest in automation, intelligent data utilization, and scalable production concepts reflected the continuing growth and transformation of the Indian electronics manufacturing market.
