§ 1 What categories of personal data do we process? When you use the customer hotline VoiceBot, we collect and process the following personal data:
§ 2 How long is your data stored? As a general principle, we only store your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. Longer retention periods will only apply if legitimate grounds for further processing continue to exist. In particular, statutory, regulatory, and/or contractual retention obligations may require extended storage periods. Furthermore, personal data may be retained for the period during which potential legal claims may be asserted against us (statutory limitation periods ranging from three to thirty years). The VoiceBot itself processes your data only for as long as necessary to convert spoken language into machine-readable text. Once the transcription has been completed, the audio recording is deleted immediately. No audio files are stored. The VoiceBot does not create or retain any audio recordings or audio files. The transcript of the interaction is retained for 90 days and is subsequently deleted.
§ 3 Purpose Limitation and Legal Basis ASMPT SMT will process the personal data you provide solely for the purposes communicated to you, in particular to respond to your questions or concerns. In addition, we use your data for the automated identification and matching of customers and customer contacts. Any further processing will take place only if and to the extent that it is directly related to your inquiry, for example for the preparation, negotiation, and performance of a contract with you or your employer, for compliance with legal obligations to which we are subject, and, where necessary in individual cases, to comply with orders issued by governmental authorities or courts. We may also process your data to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Furthermore, we process your data to prevent misuse or other unlawful activities. In particular, processing may take place to ensure the security of our systems, for example to prevent or combat deliberate attacks against them.
